We were delighted to work with the Marvel UK team on this incredible #ThorBus, to promote its latest cinematic epic, Thor: Love and Thunder.
In July, we took the bus on tour across the UK, stopping at Birmingham, Manchester, London and Cardiff. Fans of the film series were treated to a unique interactive experience with prizes, games and a Marvel-style make-up and hair section, as well as lots of photo opportunities with a life-sized Thor statue!
It was a pleasure to be involved in the promotion of this year's 6th highest-grossing film and we look forward to working with Marvel again in the future.
We were delighted to work with the Pokémon team once again, this time creating a new bus and a treasure trail for their European tour. Launching in the Trafford Centre Manchester visitors were welcomed onboard 4-metre converted bus by the OG Pokémon character, Pikachu.
The set-up also included a treasure hunt-style trail, where visitors could discover hidden Pokémon art across the shopping mall, one of the first guests to get involved was celebrity Paris Fury and her children who had a great time searching for all the hidden treasures and treats.
The bus will be on the road for the next twelve months and the next stop is the Kids Expo in Paris. It was a pleasure to work with Pokémon and we look forward to seeing what they do next!
In August 2020, the Kozelsky Catering team, Mélanie and Fabian, discovered a 1962 London bus for sale in Fribourg, Switzerland. After visiting it, they fell in love and decided to purchase it in order to restore it and give it a second life. Even after driving more than 1.2 million kilometres as a mode of public transport in and around London, its condition remained excellent. Imported by a family from Fribourg in 1995, the bus had accompanied them in their daily life for over 20 years and been displayed in their garden when not in use, serving as a bar at family parties and even as a roof over the heads of their children when they decided to spend the night!
However, due to a lack of time, it was largely left unused until it crossed the path of the Kozelsky Catering team.
After deciding on their ideas for the future of the bus, Mélanie and Fabian began researching who could transform it exactly as they wished. After several meetings with Swiss partners, it turned out the best solution was to transport the bus to England and that’s where The Bus Business stepped in - we specialise in the renovation of old English buses so this was the perfect opportunity to display our talents.
The bus was then transported to England by a special convoy around the beginning of November 2021 to be renovated there.
Upon its arrival, the bus was completely dismantled. The mechanical part was rebuilt, the gearbox revised, the engine changed, new brakes were fitted, the chassis was sandblasted and that was all just for starters!
All the work was carried out to ensure the bus could run as long as possible. Once the mechanics were finished, the roof structure was modified, with the aim of reducing the height of the bus by 40cm to be able to homologate it according to Swiss laws. Custom-made hydraulic rams were then added to raise the roof and allow future customers to stand fully upright on the first floor.
The whole aluminium body was then straightened and in some places completely redone. We then had to carry out a number of additional jobs, including choosing the new colour of the bus, which materials we wanted to use inside, ordering furniture, designing and installing a custom-made professional bar for the ground floor and installing a generator to ensure the bus' independence. Everything was thought out and supervised from Switzerland but carried out in England.
After two years of hard work, the bus finally returned to Switzerland at the beginning of September 2022 to participate in its very first event and inauguration: the Foire du Valais 2022.
Once the bus is back in England, there will be two options for its commercial operation:
- Customers will be able to rent it via the catering company Kozelsky Catering and organise an aperitif for their company or a private wedding/birthday-style event. Kozelsky Catering will take care of moving the bus to the desired location and will provide a tailor-made offer for all food and drinks.
- The second option is to rent only the structure. This enables companies to rent the bus, customise it with their own colours and use it for promotional purposes. We have taken care to keep the bus as neutral as possible so that it can be accessible to everyone. We will take the time to analyse every request we receive to make sure the experience it gives our customers is exclusive and memorable.

It was a privilege to work with Ralph Lauren once again, this time collaborating on a coffee truck, serving customers in Roermond, Netherlands and in Bicester Village, Oxfordshire.
We are used to producing longer chassis designs for Ralph's Coffee trucks but for these two different locations where space is at a premium we needed to convert to shorter trucks and add roof height. It was great to see our vision succeed with both trucks performing at shopping outlets so brilliantly through the winter period.
We have been working with Ralph Lauren’s dedicated expert team throughout 2022 and delivered three trucks for them, with more planned in 2023 and beyond.
It was a pleasure to work with the iconic crêpe company, Crêperie Angélie. We worked alongside them to design and build a stunning food kiosk. Serving in Bicester Village, Oxfordshire the kiosk has been extremely popular during the festive season with people flocking to our latest design to enjoy a lovely artisan crêpe.
The unit had been clad in beautiful oak to reflect the premium ingredients that go onto every serving by Crêperie Angélie.
Crêperie Angélie has become an icon for delicious, luxury crêpes with a modern twist. Using artisanal techniques that stretch back generations, they’re all about fresh and natural ingredients, keeping it local wherever possible.
We were honoured to work with them and design something perfect for their needs.
We worked closely with the Nyetimber team to create a stylish and sophisticated retail vehicle for their Platinum Jubilee celebrations - and we certainly delivered!
Taking cues from their stunning head offices, we worked alongside the Nyetimber team to produce this fabulous space for customers to enjoy a glass of wine over the Jubilee weekend.
Crafted from the finest British oak and leather, this was one of our best builds to date.
————————————
Nyetimber British Sparkling Wine briefed the Bus Business to create a highly stylised, functional retail vehicle - with added sophistication.
The design and layout took clues from their stunning and extremely lovely London head office. We worked with their team to produce an amazing space for a wine tasting or to enjoy a chilled glass of Nyetimber at one of the many events the Nyetimber Routemaster will visit.
Crafted painstakingly using fabulous British materials, oak, leather and finished with touches of copper and stone.
It was great to revisit our Havwoods build and give it a facelift for 2022!
We updated this wonderful classic Routemaster using the latest Havwoods flooring products, alongside luxury fittings and fixtures.

What a couple of weeks it has been here at The Bus Business - first the Premier League champions, now the double winners, Liverpool F.C.!
It was a great honour to be part of the cup-double celebrations, creating 4 incredible “WE ARE LIVERPOOL” buses for the parade through the centre of Liverpool - even Calvin Harris stopped by to spin a few tunes!
Congratulations to Pep and the boys on becoming the 2021/2022 Premier League Champions!
It was a huge honour for us to be able to create 3 buses fit for the champion's parade through Manchester. Adorned with the classic sky blue and white alongside the 'CHAMPIONS AGAIN!' logo, the bus was a hit with players and fans alike.
To celebrate the launch of Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield on the Nintendo Switch we were asked to create a mobile Pokémon content studio so the Pokémon team could explore landscapes up and down the UK that helped inspire the mythical world of Galar.
You can watch UK TV hosts Sam Nixon and Mark Rhodes as they travel in style in our Pokémon-themed double-decker bus on the official Pokemon YouTube channel. They’ll be joined by a variety of special Pokémon trainers on their travels and this week they welcome DanTDM to the Poké ball inspired bus.
The custom double-decker content and gaming studio has been filled with everything a true Pokémon trainer would need - a Pokémon gaming studio and trading card zone.
We were so excited to work with the Pokémon UK team on this fantastic and creative project, and we can’t wait to see where their travels take them!
We’d like to say a huge thank you to Hope & Glory PR for coming to us with this project and Guts & Glory Films for producing the event.

It is always nice to be asked to do multiple jobs for a client - especially when they are as cool as this.
We had already designed and constructed two previous projects for Ralph Lauren so when they came and asked for us another Ralph’s Coffee truck - we jumped at the chance.
Now operating in Qatar, we worked to very tight deadlines and against all the challenges that COVID19 throws in our way! We are delighted to continue to help them expand and serve more customers in some the world’s best locations.
These unprecedented times have given us a time to reflect on some of our favourite past projects. We were delighted to work with Monkey 47 Dry Gin, a gin company based in Germany’s Black Forest. We took their iconic gin on a tour around Scandinavia and Germany in our bespoke double decker that was kitted out to meet all their precise requirements for entertaining, experiencing and enjoying!
The stunning bus managed to serve customers their favourite Monkey 47 beverages with the opportunity to drink inside our branded Rosebery bus. The Rosebery is unique: a chic cocktail bar downstairs with an elegant dining area upstairs that has a roof that rises up at the touch of a button.
We were honoured to work with Monkey 47 and were pleased to see our joint venture be such a success!
As the world begins to ease its lockdown measures, people are starting to look for ways to reignite their businesses in the hospitality and entertainment industry. There’s no saying when things will reach the next stage but we should all still be planning for how we embrace ‘the new normal’.
In Germany, for example, club promoters are hosting drive-in raves where the clubbers are socially distanced, allowed to attend as two people per vehicle and only within set parking spaces, which are proving to be hugely popular.
Here at The Bus Business, we are also looking at innovative ways to bring events to your audience, and we may have found the perfect solution for your first socially distanced event once lockdown is over.
Our ready-made social distancing event hosting and management solution can be seen below - this event area has been carefully crafted to ensure social distancing is maintained whilst your guests are entertained and can relax knowing they are being kept safe.
Perfect for small groups of family and friends or selected exclusive invitees, guests will enter the event area through state-of-the-art sanitising units provided by XMIST and have their temperature taken - this means that as soon as anybody sets foot at an event, the risk of infection has been minimised. The event area will also host an automatic hand sanitiser station to prevent cross-contamination and The Bus Business is able to supply high-quality sanitiser that can be branded to match your event or business.
Food and drinks can be ordered in advance and delivered to carefully spaced pod seating areas by waiting staff wearing PPE equipment, minimising contact with vendors and others. Some operators may find it difficult to operate with these measures in place, but with a little creativity, we hope our theatrical, highly-functional mobile bars and food trucks will ensure public safety and profitably for vendors.
Dwelling areas will be minimised ensuring people are aware of the clearly marked areas they must stay in with 2-metre distancing being enforced by event staff to allow people to interact as safely as possible.
The event space can also host live music by selected artists or large screens to show films or sporting events, so entertaining guests at a distance won’t be a problem either. Once the event is over the event space will be cleansed with an anti-viral sanitising fog.
If you would like to know more about our ready-made social distancing events hosting and management service please get in touch using the contact form here or call 0845 225 0320.
We were delighted to help Liverpool celebrate their incredible Champions League winning campaign, which saw them lift the trophy for the 6th time. It was a fantastic day and the whole city was certainly painted red, with police estimating that around 750,000 people turned out to get a glimpse of the players and the trophy!
The parade began at Allerton Maze and ended near the waterfront after moving slowly through a sea of red. We were honoured to work with Liverpool Football Club and we are pleased that our buses allowed them to help share their successful season with the red-side of Merseyside!
It was yet another parade fit for champions as we helped Man City celebrate their historic men’s domestic cup treble - plus their women’s team bagging their own double too!
Providing them with four carefully designed and wrapped parade buses, our team helped the parade navigate the streets of Manchester, before arriving at Manchester Cathedral for a presentation and to get the party started.
We are pleased to continue to work with Man City in helping them share their success with the blue side of the city and are pleased our buses allow for the fans to celebrate the journey the team has been on this season.
We have had a great week with this bus for HP at the Bett Show at London’s ExCel. This immersive bus has been specifically designed to showcase HP’s market-leading education technology, which helps millions of students around the world get ready for the challenges of 21st century careers. It was an honour to help them demonstrate how their hardware, software, and services rooted in student centricity and real-world relevance are supporting innovative instructional practices while minimising total cost of ownership. It looked really cool too!
Ardbeg is a heritage whisky brand from the Isle of Islay, that is considered by many connoisseurs as close to perfection. They engaged us to produce a ticket office and tasting experience space on board one of our converted Routemaster buses for their world famous distillery.
The bus will help take the pressure off their highly successful restaurant, bar and shop so ticket sales for their distillery tours can be bought directly from the bus #ardbus
It’s certainly a whisky that’s worshipped around the world, the Ardbeg distillery is picture perfect and well worth a visit - and we hope our bus can welcome many visitors for them too.
We recently helped Nespresso launch their brand new coffee machine, Vertuo. Crowds gathered near London’s King’s Cross and Charing Cross Stations to see the new machines on one of our carefully designed and crafted buses.
It was a great way to promote and launch the new product, allowing potential customers to not only try the coffee but fully immerse themselves in the Nespresso brand. Plus, we had a lot of fun joining in to help and working closely with our partners at #TeamWass!
We hope to work with this great brand again.
The Bus Business had a super time celebrating the 50th anniversary of Pride!
We had the pleasure of creating two incredible parade buses for the event which took over London - for ITV and NBC Universal. Both buses went down a treat, sounding and looking fantastic as they made their way through the crowds and passed some of London’s most iconic landmarks. We love working with brands for their Pride procession and are already looking forward to next year’s event.
Make sure to check out all of our social medias to see some wonderful pictures from the event.
The Bus Business was delighted to work with Cowshed - who produce premium and luxurious bath and body products.
We helped set up a stunning mobile beauty parlour which has been a huge hit with members and customers at the stunning Soho Farm location.
The Google Digital Garage is a mobile learning space we created for tech giant Google, travelling all across the UK helping reach business people and help them with the latest technological advancements.
The bus offered free tutorials from Google on everything from your website to online marketing and beyond. Choose the topics you want to learn, or complete the whole online course for a certification from Google and IAB Europe.
We are loving this bus we created for Dr Schär who are the main show sponsor of The Allergy Show, currently on at Olympia, London.
The bus and attendance at the event is all part of their recent relaunching in the UK and new range of tasty gluten-free products. The bus, which we think looks great (obviously!) has gone down a storm with plenty of amazing food being served from it!
The Bus Business is delighted to announce a partnership with Coca-Cola, in taking the Premier League Trophy on a tour around the UK and Ireland. The season is currently approaching a climatic end, with two teams in a proper title race! Make sure you get a chance to take a peek at the trophy before the blues of Manchester or the reds of Liverpool get their hands on it.
Kicking off in Liverpool on 23 March, the carefully crafted Trophy Tour Bus will be bringing the league’s coveted prize to several locations across the UK and Ireland. There’s also a lot more on show than just the trophy though, our specially built Trophy Tour double decker bus (including a stage and DJ booth) will also play host to the dream of every football fan: a dedicated FIFA gaming floor. So if you fancy crowning yourself ‘King of FIFA’ then get involved in the ‘Battle of the Ballers’ tournament.
The Trophy Tour bus will also be home to Coca Cola’s very own ‘Take the Mic’ commentary experience. So if FIFA is not your thing you can embrace your very own Martin Tyler and commentate over some of the Premier League’s finest and historic moments!
Our double decker bus will be filled with footballing fun and games. But, fortunately, a few spare seats have been reserved for some very special guests.
At each of the six locations, legends of the Premier League era will be taking to the stage for guest appearances and live Q&A sessions. This tour certainly won’t be one to miss – we are delighted with the way the bus looks and stay tuned for more photos from its tour.

Angelic was pleased to be part of Axiom’s stand at Revo 2018, held in Manchester this week. The exhibition highlighted the changing face of retail in the UK and how retailers need to start thinking differently to drive success. That’s something Axiom is certainly doing, no more so than our exciting partnership with them for their Axiom Eats offering.
We will directly operate the Axiom Eats mobile food and drink operations with thoughtful and varied seasonal menus, responsibly sourced ingredients and environmentally friendly packaging. This, combined with our theatrical approach to food and drink service, will create an engaging and memorable location for customers to enjoy.
What’s more, to mark the partnership we created a bespoke Slingsby Gin Bar from one of our vintage Citroën H Vans - something that went down a storm with visitors to Axiom’s stunning stand. With specially created cocktails, we were delighted to wow the Axiom team and their contacts and look forward to do even more into the future.

It has been a great first year for our bus project for Devere Hospitality. Part of the Principle Hotels group, the Devere bus has been used to promote its £100m investment in some of Britain's finest and most loved estate hotels.
The luxurious bus was carefully designed to match the high standards of the hotels, giving visitors a taste of their stunning quality.
Devere also commissioned 3 converted horsebox kiosks to work in the grounds of their stunning country estate hotels to support the high season demand for their guests, when out enjoying the beautiful grounds. With fine attention to detail and stunning craftsmanship, the horseboxes made a big impression and will be back for next year in spring.

The Bus Business has completed one of its biggest projects to date, this time for Richard Branson’s Virgin Media Business.
Virgin Media Business wanted a spectacular roadshow vehicle to launch their 2017 #VOOM campaign - and to promote the launch of its specialist fibre business broadband.
Over the next six months the Voom Tour bus will visit Belfast, Birmingham, Cardiff, Dublin, Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Manchester, Newcastle and Winchester.
Virgin Media Business is looking for local people with the courage to pitch their business idea at each tour stop, giving them the chance to win a regional prize of £5,000 and one of ten chances to meet and receive advice from Sir Richard Branson. Experts from partners including Virgin StartUp will also be on hand to provide valuable expertise, help and advice on how to launch and scale a start-up.
The national competition will return in March 2018 and will again provide the chance to win a share of £1 million in prizes.
Our team of experts worked closely with the Virgin Media Business guys to craft four dedicated zones on the bus, allowing them to present, interview, provide hospitality and conduct photo opportunities and press activity.
We worked tirelessly, putting thousands of hours of thought, design and build-expertise into making this bus into great mobile space for VMB to showcase and promote their campaign in a way that matches both their great brand and service.
We are pretty confident Mr Branson liked it too...
The Worlds Biggest Foodtruck...
New food brand, Glazed, got in touch and commissioned the team to build and design their first retail food truck. Glazed is selling premium Donut Burgers using the best produce available so required a bus to give them the ultimate in both presence and functionality.
Through working closely with their chefs, the lower deck has been transformed into a full commercial kitchen, whilst the upper deck on this 11.5m rebuilt bus is now an opulent dining area featuring a twinkling starlight ceiling.
The high-attention to detail and handcrafted quality of the finished bus is astounding, with copper, granite and leather finishes really bringing the space alive. Importantly, the kitchen is fitted with the latest state-of-the-art equipment to deliver the perfect service each time.
From our point-of-view, it is a project we are especially proud of as it has been totally rebuilt over just five months but the effort was worth it and justified in the quality of the end product. The bus will operate in the UAE from April 2017 and we will provide updates on its success!
Mind Candy came to us with a retail design expert for their Moshi Monsters brand, we helped develop one of the highest grossing mobile retail spaces that has ever hit the road. The queues were legendary at each event but the parents and children were entertained in the queue before they went through the experiential / retail vehicle. This vehicle worked successfully for a 3 year period and finished on a high, were we pleased to be involved with such a huge successful concept. It just shows if you make the effort, book the right promotional sites that you really can make huge profits as well as advertise your brand.

Virgin Holidays & Resolution Interiors came to us with a brief to create a show stopping mobile vehicle that could retail holidays away from their existing stores, engaging people in their leisure time and giving their consumers Virgin’s legendary hospitality in a cool environment.
Response:
After some blue sky thinking we came up with some wild 3D which sparked the Virgin Holidays team imagination and were asked to tweak it based on their budget, we did and the VH Bus was born. It is difficult to tell the difference between the 3D creation and the finished build. We had a deadline to finish before the Virgin AGM in Las Vegas where the bus was launched. Client happy. Job done. Now it is our job to take this around the UK for Virgin Holidays. Great brand, great client.
Result:
The WOW factor was definitely delivered, on the first outing on London’s busy Southbank on Dec 29th flights & holidays were sold and many, many faces lit up as they saw something very unusual and cool. #madeithappen

Ragged Edge: The pictures of the Grey Goose Camionette say everything, I trusted The Bus Business to convert a battered vintage H Van into the most talked about mobile bar in the last decade. Having only 6 weeks to produce the van before its first event at the House Festival was a tough ask but it happened. Allie Behr

We were approached directly by the Royal Mint to activate their only mobile roadshow in their 1000 year history. The modern low floor bus & supporting trailer / staircase provided a high “through-put” mobile retail unit to sell their exclusive commemorative coins at events, shows & City Centres.
Response:
We started from scratch and bought in retail space designers to assist us in designing the perfect retail space for the Royal Mint to operate from. The trailer was a key element to the success of the mobile store as footfall traffic through the bus was dramatically increased. The upper deck of the bus was a timeline of their 1000 year history which then led to the retail point on the lower deck.
Result:
The bus consistently delivered great sales across the 6 months it was activated.

We were approached directly by Canopius to supply a vintage motorbike with sidecar, provide a rider / vehicle manager to deliver and manage the bike at their annual conference in Monaco, France. The bike and sidecar had to be photographed in a studio, fully branded to support their conference branding.

A quick turnaround was needed to successfully achieve everything the client needed, we love a challenge. We resprayed one of stock sidecar bikes, branded it and sent our lucky rider out to Monaco with the sidecar safely in a trailer.
